177: Day three P90x complete.

May 8th, 2010

Day 3 of P90x complete… I’m glad I do this alone at home… Me doing P90x must resemble a Special Olympics event. Not for long, Pappa is headed toward skinny… LOL

One of my readers asked describe my mental and physical changes and feelings as well.

Hmm… I’m sore but proud of it.  ;)

I have a since of accomplishment at the end of each workout.

I think my severe allergies are not helping,  every time I sneeze and my body tightens up,  I almost form a tear.

I’m still 100% resolute in losing this weight and getting into the best shape of my life.

Just finished P90x (Lean track) day 2.  Cardio X.

Kempo I like, (I’ve done martial arts most of my life), The Yoga was tough due to my current weight and the strengh reiqured to hold some of the poses.

Great workout,  was able to do all the exerscies (did have to pause a couple time so I could finish my reps).

Some activities must be 100% perfect.

December 26th, 2008

“If at first you don’t succeed… so much for skydiving.”

– Henry Youngman

Some activities in life really need to be done right the first time, but for most things just doing something is better than doing nothing. Let’s take working out for example. (This is a health and fitness blog.) If I’m not sure that my work out routine is the “perfect one” then what should I do?

The answer is workout anyway. The point of exercise is that it’s exercise.  It’s as simple as that. When you are starting to make small changes in your life like incorporating a workout routine don’t buy into all the hype, home fitness equipment or even your buddies saying you should be doing ____________ not __________, just do what you feel you can stick to.

Trust me, as you get into it… it will grow on you and you’ll seek out information on exercises that give you better results.
